In order to graduate with the Communication Major, students must complete a minimum of 36 credits total (usually nine courses) and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the major.
NOTE: The following Communication Major requirements pertain to students who declared the major as of August 2011 or later. Students who declared prior to that time are required to take only COMM 300Z for the Methodology requirement and three Advanced Seminars.

In addition to completing the course requirements and maintaining the minimum required GPA of 2.0, students in the Communication Major also are required to attend all departmental colloquia and fully adhere to and uphold the university's Honor Code.
