Lesotho 2024: A Fun Workday

Today was a normal workday for us. I helped painted the sixth-grade classrooms with others. We completed most of our projects. We have music, English, science, geography, and math on the walls. Thankfully I convinced Rosenberg to let us paint the doors to the classroom because they needed some TLC. I was able to play soccer with the local kids yesterday and talk about each other's lives. It was cool to hear from them and compare and contrast to the kids in Na Ramabanta. I am glad the classrooms are coming along well and am excited to finish up. We head to Kruger soon; I am so excited. I love you, fam! See you soon!

I am known as the king of dirt. Things have changed . I was once the king of rocks but now I have gained a new namesake. For the first part of the day, I was tasked with re-pilling a bunch of dirt. The dirt was there because we needed a lot of holes for the playground. I did this all by my lonesome which I may add. Before we left the worksite for lunch a lot of things went down. First i tried to do a somersault and nearly broke my neck. After that Bekah, Lexie, Taiden and Emma G collectively stole my air pods, sunglasses, water bottle and backpack. They took a bunch of pictures on my phone and sick video of me jumping. After Lunch I weight tested the slide and ripped half my sweatshirt open. To cap off the workday I helped Emma G paint some numbers in one of the classrooms which was fun. Can't wait for the safari.

P.S. I'll be on look out for a lion, Dad! Ready for what's next, Kristen
