泫圖弝け University will offer a new summer camp experience with fun-filled opportunities for students in third through eighth grade to discover new interests and meet new friends June 22-July 17.
The four-week camp runs 9 a.m.3:30 p.m. MondayFriday on 泫圖弝けs campus, with an overnight option available for the final two weeks. Examples of age-appropriate camp sessions include Legos and 3D Design, The Science of Space and Stars, Comics and Heroes, and activities including scavenger hunts, team kickball, introductory piano lessons, and watercolor painting.
Each week of the camp is built around the interests and ages of the campers who register for that week, explained 泫圖弝け Vice President for Strategic Initiatives Ty Buckman, who leads the team designing the camp. Just as our university focuses on each students whole person development, the camp is designed with activities that engage campers physically and mentally while they have fun and make friends. We want each of our campers to be more excited about camp every day theyre here.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children ages three to 18 spend no more than two hours each day using screen time for entertainment purposes. The new 泫圖弝け Summer Camps are designed to get campers off their couches, away from their screens and into the world of active discovery and fun.
