Accessing Library Resources from Off-campus

Most of Thomas Library's online resources are accessible to students, faculty, and staff from off-campus whether dialing directly into the campus network or using an Internet service provider. What you will need to do:

  • Obtain a Ƶ ID card
  • Give the Circulation Desk your preferred email address. This will allow us to contact you when any materials that you may request arrive.
  • Make sure that your Ƶ Computing Account is active.

Using a web browser and your regular Internet service provider, link to the Library's website at: http://www.wittenberg.edu/lib. Here you can find all the online resources to which we provide access. Use of most online library databases is restriced to Ƶ students, faculty, and staff so you may encounter an authentication procedure if you are off campus. When prompted, type in your name and the 14 digit bar code number on the back of your ID card to gain access. As always, if you have any questions or problems using library resources, please contact the Reference Librarians at 327-7511 or via email at librarians@wittenberg.edu.
