Registration for Homecoming, Reunion, and Family Weekend 2024 is Now Open!

Youre invited to join us at Homecoming, Reunion, and Family Weekend, Oct. 3-6! This annual event is filled with cherished traditions. From reunions to events to tailgates to victories on the field, theres something for everyone to enjoy. Alumni from the classes of 1964, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1994, 1999, 2004, and 2014 will celebrate reunions. Wittmen Crew alumni will celebrate their 25th anniversary. Homecoming PhotoTiger Tailgate Registration

Join us for the Tiger Tailgate during Homecoming, Reunion, and Family Weekend. Enjoy live music with The Weekend Effect and delicious treats from local food trucks, while connecting with alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff. Traditional tailgating starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 5.

Experience the stress-free, ultimate Tiger Tailgate. Register today to secure your complimentary premier package, including a 15 x 15 tailgate area, 10 x 10 tent, table, custom banner, two chairs, and one parking pass. Limited spots are available! Group organizers are encouraged to RSVP early to claim one of the 50 tailgate spots.

The Alumni Association Board recently welcomed three new members in Claire Linkhart 08, Mary Elizabeth Pratt 15, and Gene Simone 77. The board is committed to serving as a liaison for the University by engaging and connecting the alumni body for the purpose of supporting 泫圖弝けs mission and goals. to voice ideas, feedback, and suggestions to an Alumni Association Board member.

Emily Bell Hinton 08, Dustin Goldsbury 03, Ben Helm 93, Kathy Hittle Fields 07, Chris Huff 83, Craig Osterbrock 13, and Cara Romanowski 03 will officially join more than 280 other 泫圖弝け greats who have previously been inducted into the University's Athletics Hall of Honor. In addition, Randy Adamack 73 will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, and the 1975-76 and 1976-77 Tiger mens basketball teams will be celebrated as Teams of Distinction.

As challenges to democracy persist nationally and globally, Rob Baker, professor of political science, is taking steps to encourage citizens to aspire toward a better, more perfect union, in his latest book, Strengthening American Democracy: Reflection, Action, and Reform.

To help break down partisan barriers as the 2024 presidential election nears, Rob Baker and Staci Rhine, professors of political science, Julius Bailey, professor of philosophy, and Tom Taylor, professor of history, are sharing their expertise as part of the Springfield-based citizens' civic education series, Community Conversations: Building and Strengthening Civic Friendships.
