Marcia Frost, Ph.D.

Dr. Marcia Frost, taught courses in economic history, economic development, labor and principles before her retirement from Ƶ. Her research interests focus on demographic, agrarian and technological change, and their interactions with each other and social, political and economic institutions. Her publications include "Coping with Scarcity: Wild Foods and Common Lands" and numerous book reviews in economic history and Asian Studies journals. A recent senior Fulbright scholar, she has had research affiliations with the London School of Economics, Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad and Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. A graduate of Carleton College (B.A.) and the University of Pennsylvania (M.A. and Ph.D.), she came to Ƶ in 2001.
