Ƶ graduate John Mohr, class of 2012, recently received the first-ever Wayne Flynt Endowed Graduate Award in Alabama History and Culture from the University of Auburn in Alabama, where he's currently a Ph.D. candidate concentrating on the history of technology.

For the first time in the history of Denver, Colo., a female district attorney (DA) was sworn into office on Jan. 10, 2017. Her name is Beth McCann, a 1971 Ƶ graduate.

Teaching Abroad
Erin O'Farrell, Ƶ class of 2017, is currently teaching English in Prague. She credits Ƶ University for the opportunity and courage to dedicate at least one year to teaching in Prague. She possibly intends to extend her commitment to a new location when the year is up.
